Opus RF Plasma is the newest and hottest fractional device for rejuvenating the skin and treating skin texture and quality conditions. HOW DOES IT WORK?
PixelRF uses proprietary InMotion Refractive Radiofrequency Micro Plasma Technology, which both ablates and heats the skin through controlled, focused delivery of energy without using disposables. Healthy skin around the treated area helps to accelerate the healing process thus improving results and reducing patient down time by allowing the need for just the targeted tissue to heal and collagen to strengthen. The result is fresh, smooth, radiant skin.
With its high-energy output, the PixelRF can achieve in as little as one session what would require multiple sessions with other RF technologies. Treatments can be administered year-round with no seasonal restrictions. Unlike dermal rollers or low power bi-polar RF applicators that superficially ablate and heat the skin, the PixelRF causes evaporation, mechanical damage and thermal damage deep beneath the epidermis surface providing significant dermal impact with minimal epidermal disruption.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL IT TAKE BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?
Most clients see visible improvement after their first treatment! However, the more damage the skin carries, the more treatments may be needed to help heal it. The average treatment plan suggestion is 4 to 6 sessions, 4 weeks apart.
DO I QUALIFY FOR THE TREATMENT?
The answer is more than likely, yes! Because of the safety and adjustable nature of the Pixel RF, it is safe for any skin type, colour, or age. The only contraindications for this treatment are:
- Open sores or active infections (including active herpes complex)
- Within 6 months of Accutane use
- Keloid scarring on desired treatment area
- Pregnancy or breast-feeding
- Electronic implants (pacemaker, LVAD, insulin pump, etc.)
IS IT PAINFUL?
We recommend the same numbing protocol as is used for a traditional microneedling treatment. This involves topical numbing cream applied prior to your appointment. Because the efficacy of the Opus treatment is dependent on the aggressiveness of the settings used, we recommend a minimum of 60 minutes with the numbing cream.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We tell client’s to anticipate an hour to hour and a half for the entire process of numbing and the full treatment.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY TREATMENT?
Right after treatment you may feel a hot sunburn like sensation. You may experience slight swelling for a few days. You will need to keep your skin hydrated for the first couple of days after the treatment to facilitate healing. As new skin replaces damaged tissue, your skin may look and feel a little dry, a sign that healing is underway.Your skin will start to look better, brighter and fresher within days and will steadily improve over the next weeks with full effect at three to four months.
